Exercise:
It rained all day so I wasn't enthusiastic about going outdoors. I waited until 7:45 pm before venturing out. I walked around our country block with my son and my dog. But after the walk, I took a shovel to the ice at the bottom of the driveway. That was the last remnant of what was a white Christmas. Only ten minutes of scrapping and shoveling and I had built up a good sweat!
Eating:
I've decided to fast icecream for at least a month. I find that I crave it every day after dinner and so instead of indulging in the creamy delight, I plan to pray for God's direction for my writing life.
Events:
I slept in today 'cause I stayed up so late for New Year's last night. I took it easy, watching Seinfeld reruns and taking down the Christmas tree and decorations.

Fasting ice cream...I love it!
Deep breath...Nope, not ice cream...buying books.
Dare I say that until at least the end of February, I will not buy any more books. (I may need some kind of rehab to stick with this one.)
I, too, will pray for direction in my writing life...and other areas.
Thanks for the challenge, Kimberley.
