Great Wolf Lodge fun

Dear Lord -- I pray that You will fill me with Your spirit of love, patience and forgiveness when dealing with others and myself. In Jesus' name, I pray.

I had the wonderful opportunity of spending two days with my family at the Great Wolf Lodge in Niagara Falls. What a blast! There is an indoor waterpark with a variety of pools, and water slides. My favourite was the wave pool where I fought to stand up straight against pounding waves. I had fun playing a game of water basketball - my daughter and I against my son and husband - in another pool. And the slides were pure excitment! We blasted down slides in two-person tubes, water slides with no tubes, and rubby dingy's large enough for our entire family. Imagine my surprise to realize that it also was a great workout! I walked up the 100-steps to the top of the waterslides at least 12 times over the two days. My abs worked hard to keep my body prone on the tubes. And my whole body worked to keep me from toppling over in the wave pool. Now that's a good holiday!
What holiday spots have you gone to and also got a good workout?

Tip #36 What is your goal?
Goals need to be specific. A vague goal is unlikely to be accomplished. First, a complex or long-term goal needs to be broken down into smaller or shorter-term goals to ensure success. Then, the way to know whether you have accomplished your goal is if you have some way to measure it. Ideally you can use numbers to track your progress and achievement. Thirdly, to ensure success, make your goal attainable and achievable. Lastly, without a realistic deadline it is too easy to procrastinate. A time limit will help you stay focused on your goal.

Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." Matthew 19:26
