Do these come with training wheels?

Dear Father -- You are wonderfully gracious and faithful. Thank You for the fulfillment of all Your promises. In Jesus' name.

Canada celebrated a civic holiday on Monday, August 6th. My husband, Bob, and I took this opportunity and planned a fun outing together -- rollerblading! Peterborough offers a wonderful paved trail across the city and we left early to beat the crowds. Bob strapped on his blades and patiently waited for me to fasten my helmet, wrist protection, elbow pads and knee pads. Then off we went! Well, off Bob went...I just sort of padded along. By the time I had made it to the first resting bench, my shins burned and my legs ached. Never had I experienced such pain in my outer thighs. "You need to bend your knees more and lift your feet" my husband offered. But I had enough trouble standing on one foot -- even without wheels under it!
Forty minutes later, I collapsed in the front seat of our truck. What a ride. I thanked my husband for being a good sport, and suggested we make rollerblading a more frequent activity. He just smiled and nodded.
What new sports/activities have you tried lately?

Tip #32:
Walking is one of the most flexible and relaxing activities. You don't need any special equipment or skills -- just a good pair of shoes and sensible clothing. You can do it any where and any time with a friend or by yourself. Walking offers less risk of injury, with many of the benefits of more strenuous activities.

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in Him (1 John 4:16 NIV.)
