Dear Lord -- It is so easy to fall away from healthy habits -- walking, praying, reading the Bible, eating healthy food. I pray that You will guide me to make health a priority and to make healthy choices each day. In Jesus' name, I pray.
Tip #18: Follow the 20-minute rule
Eat slowly. At meals, put down your fork. Give your brain the necessary 20 minutes to receive the signal that you have eaten your fill, so try to slow down the pace of eating.
I can do everything through Him who gives me strength (Philippians 4:13 NIV).
Challenge: For the next week, put down your fork between each bite.
Anybody out there?

Dear Lord -- It is so easy to "fall off the wagon" and fall back into bad habits. I pray that You inspire me to eat healthy and exercise each and every day. In Jesus name, I pray.
Tip #17: Time it right -- Remember, if you do not have the time for a full workout each day, break down your workouts into three or four smaller chunks of 10 minutes each. And you can do different things in each of these times.
The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know Your name will trust in You, for You, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek You (Psalm 9:9-10 NIV).
Challenge: Try working out in small chunks of 10 minutes, three times a day.
